Itr engine monitoring system?
I am looking for a monitoring system, hopefully something that I don't have to splice into wires. Not really looking for guages. I want oil pressure for sure. I want like an all in one type of thing. Sometimes I just get nervous and I want something to make me feel better. Thanks.

Stack gauges are kind of an all in one. By the time most people get all the separate gauges they spend more than one of these guys cost. Not sure about wiring, but most likely a little splicing is in order.

hondata and many aftermarket tuning solutions offer a 'dashboard' type of monitoring of the vital functions for the motor - but it simply isn't practical to drive around having to look at a laptop all the time to monitor oil and water temps, oil pressure, etc.
To the OP, hks used to have a monitoring device that would output externally showing all engine vitals - you'd need an in-dash monitor or lcd but could use that. http://www.hksusa.com/info/?id=3474
Alternatively, the power fc commander shows all of the vitals you want to see. Of course, this requires you have the power fc to run your ecu...
A simple solution is the apex vafc, which you can install using a jumper harness, but it doesn't display as many functions - only things like vacuum, max rpm recall, tps, etc.
I think one of the more ee types in the EF forum made a total monitoring solution, but it is still in development last I recall.
For you and me, we're probably going to be stuck with installing defi gauges in a discreet location to monitor oil and water temp, oil pressure, and BOOST.

I am obd2, I don't want a lcd screen though. I want it to be small and not too noticeable.
I really like the scangauge2 but no oil pressure or temp.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes alot of onboard monitoring. I've used a VAFC-II for a volt meter, shift light and other functions even though I was tuned on Hondata.
Just recently I was talking to a friend of mine about gauges and was curious if any company made something along the lines of a small vid screen with multipal functions. Kinda like a VAFC and the Apex I-moni combined.
I've seen some options here and there but nothing has really sparked my interest. If/when I find this gadget I might be dissappointed when I see the price tag.

What do you think about the defi link Display...?
I Installed on the place were the clock are...!But I have to tell you that this Link Display is very expensive

OP, any kind of "all-in-one" is going to need some wire splicing, that's just how it goes. Having one unit monitor signals from multiple sensors will require wiring to and from those sensors in some way. If oil pressure is the most important one, sounds like you should just get an oil pressure gauge and call it a day.
tunerview sounds like what you are looking for

I think I may just go for an oil pressure gauge I would of liked something more but I can't seem to find anything that I like. That tuner view is pretty cool but I didn't see oil pressure for it.
you can get out for under $80-90 for an autometer mechanical oil pressure gauge setup. I would recommend a oil filter sandwich plate with npt ports. it is not much more than getting the required bpt-npt adapter, T, and lines that you would need otherwise.
stay away from the electrical gauges, the response time sucks, the senders are usually big, and quite gay.

Are the electrical oil pressure guages really that slow? The reason I ask is I would fear the clear line that is between the guage and the motor breaking and or leaking, filling the interior with hot oil making a terrible mess. I've known that to happen to a couple of guys in the past.
I have heard the stories about the lines leaking on the mechanical gauges tho i've never witnessed it. I know some people upgrade the hose from the cheap nylon stuff. What I did was push the nylon line thru 1/8" clear tubing (using silicon lubricant). This helps prevent the kinks that occur during installation and protects from rubbing, while containing any immediate leaks.
Aftermarket electrical pressure gauges usually aren't very high quality. The Autometers and the like use cheap bulky transducers. You can spend more and get a really nice transducer of course, but then you usually have to have a mating gauge which will also be more expensive. They are more expensive anyway.
Ideally, just picking up a nice pressuer transducer, scaling the input into a logger or ems with a gauge output ala stack, race-technology Dash2, etc would be my choice.
The OP sounds like he just wants some cheap reassurance.. so this is about the cheapest.

If this is not for a race application, there is absolutely no reason to go with the Stack or AIM display, they are fantastic but way out of the realm of what you need.
We use a lot of the Defi Link Display's and I'm really pleased with them.
Features:
Ability to add sensors into the system over time, the entire setup needs a minimum of three connections, everything else is taken care of through the "Daisy-Link".
Available Sensors: Water Temp, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, EGT, Fuel Pressure
Dual-Point Shift Light, Digital Tach, Digital Speedometer, record/play function on the Control Unit, right out of the box.
Price wise I'd say it's perfect, it's a great means to accomplish what you're looking to do.
