so wondering if anyone has had this issue:

when vtec engages i get code 16 (fuel injector/possibly main relay)
but never get the code otherwise.

changed the main relay about two years ago, and never have a starting issue so don't think its that.

going to check the fuel injectors
but could this be a vtec solenoid issue?

 

main relays are notorious for going out...try resetting your ecu and using another known working relay to test it out
