Default gsr turbo cam timing question?

Hi guys

Im currently boosting a GSR stock motor and have some vernier gears lying about. Is it worth installing them and playing with timing at all to reduce some overlap etc...Wasnt sure if anyone had experience and could tell me if it worth it at this level of build. Aiming for 320ish WHP. Iv had good gains up top on my NA builds from more overlap but wondered if id be better dialling some out for a turbo setup to make a nicer powerband etc..? Thanks guys, Marc

If your only aiming for 320whp there is absolutly no need to plan with cam timing at all. completely stock formation gsr engine will make 320 with ease

^^ I agree I would leave it stock you can make the 320 easily with out messing with the cam.

you cqan max out stock setup without cam changes so why bother paying a tuner to do so. you only start with cam shanges when you have serious cams or setup and are trying to squeeze every last drop of power out of the setup
