Default Draining and refilling Transmission fluid question

Hey I am reading the service manual on how to change the manual transmission fluid, on my 1998 Honda Civic cx. I see that you are suppose to remove the drain plug, and replace it then remove the filler plug and fill transmission fluid until it comes out of the filler plug.
I read alot of write-ups and manuals but...

My question is Where do you fill the transmission fluid at?? anyone has picture? no where in the manual does it tell you, it just says fill with Manual transmission fluid. anyone has pictures? explanations? thankss.

btw i have a D16y7

also I can easisly locate the transmission drain plug, but is the filler plug towards the front or back?

thanks!

The plug is on the bottom right, behind your passenger side wheel. You need to use a 3/8" ratchet without the socket to loosen the plug.

drain the tranny fluid from #12 (above diagram)
after its all drained, put #12 back on and take off #17(diagram)
fill thru VSS until tranny fluid is coming out of the hole from #17
put bolt #17 back in, reinstall VSS and your done

its your speed sensor #11, technically you're supposed to fill in though the fill plug.. if this is your first time doing this, and you don't know how much fluid your tranny takes exactly, i would fill though the fill plug.

okay, so i located the VSS, and there is a rubber cap that is covering it, i lifted it up and there is an electric thing with wires connected to it, and when i tried to move it, it would not budge at all. ??
But what I don't understand about filling transmission fluid from the filler plug, is that it is horizontal so how would i get the fluid in there?

thanks so much for the replys so far you guys are great!

just go to your local hardware store or automotive supply store and pick up something similar..

make sure to do it while the car is LEVEL! probably the most important part while filling.
