Default OT: Air Compressor?

whats the difference between VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL tank? any power difference?

im planning on getting one so to do my swaps, so far this is what i found:
-Craftsman 6hp, 30gal. VERTICAL tank for $299 (sale) was $329.
-Craftsman 6hp, 33Gal. Horizontal tank for $299 (not on sale)

whats the difference? is that much hp, and gal. good enough for honda swaps? or work on my car? (tranny work, clutch work, etc..?)

what do you have?

thanks

what is the psi on those. i would get the verticle only because it will save you room in the garage.

you want decent volume, 30gal is good.
You also want good cfm rate. if i remember right, anything above 7cfm is good.
psi doesnt mean as much as most do up to 125. CFM is everything

there is no difference between vertical and horizontal

I got my 20 gal horizontal because it's portable. Well, it has wheels on it, at any rate.
