My Ek build
so I have had about 6 hondas now and since I sold my 93si I have wanted to build my CLEAN 98 ek shell that I picked up not to long ago.
The car has 66k original miles on it. The car was in California since 05 and sat and garage until I bought it. Not a spot of rust and the body lines up perfect.
I was planning on doing a 99-00 conversion but I decided not to jump on the band wagon.
I bought a real BYS bumper, ctr headlights, alex brackets, and some mint wed sport sa-90's for the car with the discontinued center caps. I am in the process of finding a Zeal wing for the car but I may just have to settle with a ctr wing for now.
I also just ordered a set of password fenders with smoked amber side markers, and some jdm thin side moldings.
I am in the process of finding a ctr rear lip and possibly some side skirts to go along with the car. I wanted your guys opinion on the mirrors, as of now i just have the stock 98 mirrors on the car I was wondering if I got 99-00 mirrors would it throw the look of the car off at all, or should I just stick with the 98 mirrors.
I am undecided on paint but I do know that I will be spraying the bay HOK candy gold because my buddy has an extra quart lying around. I was thinking possibly laguna seca blue or maybe not changing the color and going with a dark red wine color. I have a good connection on paint and body work and they do some phenomenal work (usually they only paint muscle cars)
I just wanted your guys opinions on anything as far as the mirrors, the paint color, and anything else that I should be considering to buy before I have my car sprayed. Oh ya and I am having it sprayed inside and outside so its going to be niceeee I told them I want it to be show car quality and I would represent their shop so they can get some import business as well, because they sprayed my hatch and it was beautiful I had compliments from guys driving gorgeously painted muscle cars, to your everyday bmw m3 m5 yuppy and of course the honda folks
I am so excited to get this build underway I will have pics up asap.

pics will be up tonight 100% it may be late but they will be up. The car currently is roma red and I think it would be easier/cheaper not to change the color. I have been thinking a lot about spraying it midori green with some gold pearlescent (sp).
here are a few teasers the intercooler looks small because it is laying on the ground like 2 feet below the bumper lol. It is a nice garret bar and plate.

the paint on the hatch is so clean it is going to be a shame repainting it but the bumper needs paint and my new hood and fenders and what not so I might as well make it a show car haha
thanks guys ya the car will be in a locked secured garage with an alarm on both car and the garage. As far as hooking it up on some body/paint work I would have to know what you want done and if you are willing to pay for quality work that is really not that much. My eg I had cost around 1800 with body work it was rusty and had a lot of dents and dings. But the work was amazing the car shined like it was new 4 years after it was painted. I have also had another ek painted and it was around the same but more of a basic vsm paint job still very clean. This ek is getting something special so it will obviously be more. Just pm me twicthed and tell me exactly what it is you want done.
