i have a 99 honda civic ex 5speed. i have dont the csf sensor and knock sensor bypass which have cleared my cel codes. however my car will not rev pass 5500rpms. it pulls all the way to 5500 and then hesitates and pops seems like it is misfiring for something i think vtec engages around 5500 or so. just seems odd. any help would appricate it. thanks

 

try a dif ecu. if its the same then you need to check each sensor. any codes? stock motor?

 

it is an obd2b car and i have an obd1 95 ex motor

 

your csf is in the dizzy then(obd1). obd2 had that in the oil pump(the sensor)go to www.rywire.com and do the crank position sesnor trick

 

i have a 95 civic ex dizzy that i wire to an obd2b wiring harness. i did the trick u told me to do last time and it got rid of the cel for the csf sensor. i also bypassed the knock sensor and got rid of the cel for that as well no currently there are no cel lights on at this time. so u saying the csf sensor is in the obd1 dizzy that i have on my car right now. what do i need to do to fix this problem with not reving over 5500 rpm? thanks

 

Did you ever fix it? My buddy's car is doing the same thing and dont know what the f... is going on with it
