Ls oil pump question

I am going lsv but not yet tho im trying to get all my parts together 1st but

i got a 97 ls and wanted to know if i would have any problems using a type r oil pump or do i have to get a ls 1?

use the type r pump. eez better and dont forget to use the ls water pump and ls timing belt

thats half right use type r or gsr/b16 oil pump and gsr/b16 water pump with gsr/itr timing belt . do not use the ls water pump and ls timing belt

but ima drive the ls stock 4 now until i get the rest of the parts to go lsv
i just wanted to know if it will be safe if i drive it all stock with a type r oil pump
