Well, for one, the manifold’s design eliminates clearance issues normally associated with the ’06-and-newer Civic Si RBC units, so common Civic and Integra engine swaps are no longer an issue. But there’s more to it than that. Although the Skunk2 intake manifold resembles the RBC version, it’s larger internally and has thicker walls, which means further porting is possible for those who require the extra volume. The Skunk2 manifold also bolts on without the need for special throttle body adapters and water neck fixes for most applications."

I dislike skunk2 like most people but their IM are made well. No to mention the article on their website did say it was bored out more than the stock rbc creating more air flow and power which leaves possibilties open for more internal modification than what u would be able to do with the rbc. Plus u dont have to worry about cutting and getting an adapter for the TB. Good product imo!!

Save your money, kids.
They go for 300 + 50 for hondata img(optional). Maybe if ur going boosted route it doesnt make much sense but for someone doing a NA build that would like to have the IM ported a $100 over is pretty decent. Not saying i would buy it for my personal build but it definitely opens the door for those that are looking for a build of that caliber
The RBC manifolds flow good enough already, specially on a stock heads your not gonne need anything more. If I were to get a new manifold and spend close to $450 it would probably be an excessive.

If I started making enough power to need a better manifold than a ported RBC or that manifold Id go big and get the IPS.. Just me .02 tho
If your looking to buy a Skank2 manifold tho they are available at Corsport.com - http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=5832
Give it 6 months or so and Blox will most likely come out with a knock off as well lol

Yessur, same here! Rockin OEM

You'll still see a benifit from it, you just wont see the max potential of the manifold. I still am runnin the PRC (JDM type R) ecu with bolt ons and nitrous. I can feel the power increase but its just not gettin all the power it could ya know?

I looking to buy this new S2 manifold just for clearance on a CRX with a k24. If it weren't for so much hassle I would keep my RBC, but I now have it for sale to finish my motor build since this S2 is now released.
PRC isn't that much better. The RRC was said to make 7hp over an RBC. But that was "said," not "proven." Buy my RBC! LoL Jk Jk, but the PRC is a straight bolt on, but the RBC is still superior.
