Instrument Panel Question...
Alright, so I have a 1990 Honda Civic EX, and have owned this car for olmost a year, and was replacing a relay the other day... and realized on the top of the dash indicator area, on the bottom side of the dashboard there are some swirly lines with a # in the middle, only visible with head lights on, these light up orange, what is this and what's it for? thanks!!!
After thinking about this for a while, I'm guessing that it's the backlight for the gauge cluster. Without it, you will not really be able to see your needles at night.
LOL. Not too sure how else to explain it.... it's something like this...
inch and a half of waves then says "20" then another inch and a half of waves.
I kinda of though it was the illuminate, for the dash lights, but I wasn't sure, still am not sure... only the waves and 20 are lit up... Most of my lighting for my instrument panel comes from behind it...

okay, and what does the HR # stand for, The # changes as i drive, like a trip meter, I havent been able to see what the highest is it goes... I think the highest I have seen so far is 20. Just a little curious.
