Hey I just bought an EK 1998 cx manual d16y7, and I'm attempting to perform a tune-up on the car my self.
Here is the list of things I'm planning to buy

Distributor Cap and Rotor $50
Wires $40
Spark Plug $ 4 X 4 $16
Oil and Filter $23
Air Filter $15
Coolant flush $15
PCV valve $ 4
Chilton manual $25

My question is should I also flush the transmission oil? I heard in manuals you won't have to do it as often. If I should what type of transmission oil? what should the label say?

I would do the tranny fluid and fuel filter as well.

 

Might as well change the tranny fuild, its easy. I think the book says every 30k. Go to Honda and buy the fluid.

 

okay I think I should buy honda tranny fluid, while I'm there should I pick up a Honda PCV valve? or would a regular one from shucks for 4 bucks work as good?
