Default 205/50/16s a good tracking tire size?

I recently jumped on a deal i couldnt let go. Accord Euro R rims with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11(205/50/16) . The tires were basically free. Anyways, my question is, 205/50/16 a good size to track or should i just sell the tires and get different ones? I curreny daily drive on the JDM ITR 16" wheels with RT-615s 205/40/16s. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

No. It's too big.

Yes. If you like the RE-11, it's available in 205/45-16. Other good 16" choices for trackable street tires include the Kumho Ecsta XS in 215/45-16 (which is a good value too), the Toyo R1R in 205/45-16, and the less sticky Falken Azenis RT-615 in 215/45-16.

That's TOO SMALL, a size that works for old Civics with much smaller tires.

On an ITR with 16" wheels, stick with either 205/45-16 or 215/45-16. Both are within 1 percent in diameter of the stock size of 195/55-15.
