Default clutch pedal sinks to the floor on my 95 civic hatch, need advice!!

ok, 2 weeks ago my clutch pedal sinked to the floor, i don't know why? My wife drove it home from work and it was fine, then parked the car for about 30 mins and i went out to the car, start it up, stepped on the clutch pedal and it just sank to the floor and wouldn't come back up, so i pulled it up with my feet and pumped it couple of times and it got back to normal. Droved fine for about 2 weeks. Now today i recieved a call from my wife saying that the clutch pedal sank to the floor again and she couldn't really drive it. What could be the cause of this? Never had a problem like this before.

also after switching from a GSR tranny to a ITR tranny, it makes a sqweaking noise from the tranny when u take off on first gear, I was using a ACT 6 puck clutch in both the tranny and made no noise with the GSR but made noise with the ITR trans.

You can't say it was definitively the master or the slave, you have to check to see which one is leaking... Both will cause you to lose pedal pressure... It is more common for the slave to go first though...

that happened to me... first i bled the brake lines like 4 times lol.. then i replaced the clutch cylinder a new one cost about 40 bucks at napa... with a new one u have to calibrate it bcuz if not then you wont get all the air out the lines.. adjust the clutch height then bleed... it worked for me good luck

^^^????

Just so OP knows...
Your brake lines have nothing to do with it...
and also there is no 'calibration' to do.
See if you can see any residue on either your master or slave, and if there is, chances are that component is leaking. They can be tricky to bleed, and you may need a buddy to pump the pedal....

im gonna guess your slave master cylinder is bad or you have a leak in the line somewhere or you just need to bleed it by most likely the slave master cylinder is gone

There is a clutch slave cylinder and a clutch master cylinder... They are two separate parts, both can fail and cause loss of pedal pressure...
