Default Battery relocation/bay wiring questions.

I am about to relocate my battery to the trunk of my 95 civic. I found a battery box at Oreillys that im probably going to use. Do i have to move my fuse box also? is it recommended? I am doing this mostly for aesthetics but security is also a concern, i try to take every possible measure that i can even though my car is garage kept.

Where do i get a block or something to plug in multiple 12v wires? Like say i run a 4ga wire from the battery up to the bay, but i want to split off for not only my starter but maybe another accessory? Or is it better just to run anything i need all the way to the back? For instance, my fog lights or my crappy oldschool HID's. I have not seen something like this in any store, just wondering if theres a place to order these.

Feel free to show me any clean wiring jobs youve done, or any good advice. Or just show me some pictures to motivate me.

Heres a pix4clix of my car so you know what im working with.

Don't relocate your fuse box. You want to add a new battery fuse within a few inches of the battery. Right around 100A. Do not use fuse breakers as they are not reliable and you will burn your car down.

Use a sealed "gel" battery like an Odyssey.

4ga is good. I hate it when people insist on 0 AWG as that is quite ridiculous. Run the power wire directly to the starter and then run an 8 gauge from the starter to your fuse box, kind of like the stock setup. Make sure to use a grommet through the firewall and use split loom in the engine bay.

As for ground, this is what I recommend. Run 4ga to each frame rail in the trunk and secure them properly. Star washers and metal tapping screws may be common for amp installs but I would prefer to see some bolts drilled and tapped directly into the rail with the paint removed. Also run an 8 gauge ground alongside your power wire and to the factory ground location on the strut tower.

As for what parts to use, that's kind of tough. You could use amp install parts or boat battery parts. The latter is probably better, but may be pretty bulky for your application.

nope, dont gotta move you fuse box. it does look cleaner that way but to me its really not worth it, you can move it to where the batt is and cleaner it up and look just as good.

you can just use amp wire it will work fine and do the job, but some people like to use welding wire? they says its better and cheeper.
