Sunday August 9th marks the 4th event for the Battle of the Imports 2009 Season at Sacramento Raceway. Final BOTI makes its way to west coast for the 2009 season, so that of you waiting for them to be back, the time is now. The Sacramento event each year grows better and better, what will happen this year to set it apart from the other Battle events. The Norris camp will be making its way to Wild West to take on racers out there. With Jonathon Reynolds running into 1 issue after another this year will this open up the door at Sacramento for Lisa Kubo to land a win at a Battle event. In the Street Performance class who will step up and taken the challenge from the always tough, Loan Nguyen. Which heavy hitters will we see in the Pro Classes, we know Norris will be there in Pro-Stock, but who will take on the challenge of running in the Pro-Import class?

Also the car show will be in full effect all competing for the Buddy Club best Team award. The girls will be out in force for the swim suit contest and Go-Go dancers on the Battle Stage.

The comment for Renyolds was not a stab towards him in one way or another, more of a way to build a story and create exciment around that class.

I had to put my .02 in on this.. I agree its a way to build excitement, everyone has their favorites in all classes! KT and I were always at each others throats back in the H/R class days, but KT's team and mine after our day "acting" as rivals went to dinner together. Same with Nelson Hoyos "Big bad GM" and my P/FWD independent team owner. For the most part rivals tend to be very good friends because THEY PUSH EACH OTHER!

 

We are good to go, we went 9.21 with the shoot deploying early.

 

Takes more than street credit to win a race. I see Reynolds taking the win. Car was trucking this past weekend
