Default Quick Sway bar question

Hi guys, I didn't get a chance measuring the size of my rear sway bar, as you know it is in workshop now and I'm keen on upgrading suspension b4 turboing.

a. Can anybody tell what the oem's CD5 rear sway bar diameter is??

I'm looking at Whiteline sway bar sourced locally, the diameter is 18mm and comes with polyurethane bushing for $210AUD shipped!!

b. Is Rear 18mm good enough??

P.S. Progress Sway bar is on back order for few weeks, and other's are too expensive from US + shipping kills for item with that size. TIA

You will feel a difference, however 18mm is smaller than some of the other sway bars offered.

My Addco is around 22mm and performs very well. Keeps the rear pretty planted. Had to change the bushings which were supposed to be polyurethane but definitely were not. Other than that, good stuff.

Good enough for what? What are your goals? A sway doesn't do much if you just want straight lines.
