No Tune Yet. Only Basemap

Is it safe to drive with a kit and a basemap
with no tune and not get into boost until
i get it tune? I want the kit in but I dont
have enough money for tune yet.

Just wait til you have the money for tuning then install the kit. This is from personal experience, just ask my 3 melted pistons. Hahaha, thank god single cams are dirt cheap!

is it safe to drive to like an exhaust shop to get exhaust done with basemap?

Save your money until you are ready to do it all. Then keep saving because you have not saved enough for a rainy day. After then, get it all and get it tuned.

I'm running a basemap for now ( lack of money ) but I have a 5lb boost cut. I drive it daily , but take it very easy. Hopefully I can get a tune pretty soon.
