Chris, don't forget the oil pan 17mm and the lug nut 19 mm

You have rear shoes not pads if you have drums in the rear. If you are talking about the fairly large nut located behind a dust cap, then you are looking at about a 32mm socket. All your DIY stores have this size for rent.

you don't need to remove that nut to replace the rear brake shoes.

the only size I can think you will be needing to replace the rear brake shoes is a 19mm to remove the lug nuts. there shouldn't be any other nut or bolt needed to replace the drum or shoes.

No you don't HAVE to take off the hub assembly, but it sure does make things A LOT easier.

how is that? doing rear shoes isn't hard to begin with, I don't see how removing the hub assembly is going to make it A LOT easier. IMO, removing the hub assembly is a waste of time and not needed.

Unless you want to reassemble the spring assembly for the shoes on the car the nut and bearing need to come off.

Oh you are so bad ***.

"Some *****" ? Touring is a moderator. And as he stated it's not required to replace the pads. You seem to be the one getting all upset.

Personally I believe you should just leave now.

I generally make it a habit of trying to keep people on the site but in all honesty if you are going to have a problem every time someone makes an opposing comment to your suggestion then you shouldn't just leave honda-tech you should just get off the internet.

Seeing that this will be my last post on this site, here goes. Touring, you edited one of my posts for no reason, send you an private e-mail to find out what the problem was, no response. That was sweet. Great way to moderate. Sounds like you just blow money out your *** to have someone else work on your car.Muffin man, God DID NOT appoint you "Gods Gift to Honda-Tech", yet you act and say things in a manner that makes people say " What a ****ing *****!". I have "trolled" on this site for over two years b4 signing up for an account. Guess what, complete ******** like yourself is what keeps good people from this site. Suck me off!! GOOD ****ING BYE!!

You're correct, God did not appoint me "God's Gift to Honda-Tech". He doesn't exist and it's a self appointed position anyways

I'm glad you're leaving. And I hope you're not actually 31 as your profile states. You act like a child.

for no reason?? I love it how some people always say they didn't do anything wrong and the moderators just do things for the fun it

in my original PM to you that stated your post was edited I also stated why it was edited. Read the entire PM before responding. I got your response, no where did I see a question that warned a response from me. I also figured with the attitude you displayed over a minor post edit I wouldn't give you the chance to escalate it any further, and after your responses in this thread I'm glad I didn't respond.
