2000 spec gsr cams in obd0 b16a
i just replaced my stock b16 cams/camgears with 2000 spec gsr cams and skunk2 camgears, i warmed up the car and took it for a test run.
its seems difficut for the engine to even get up to 7k, in all gears it it wont go past 7k. its running on stock b16 ecu, so i thought i should get a chip to dump in more fuel?
engine is pretty stock, just aem intake,dc headers to exhaust, stage 2 clutch.
suggestions?

you did something wrong when you reassembled it because there is really no difference in those cams. you basically wasted your time, and messed your motor up in the process.
Conan is correct, not much difference in the B16 and GSR cams (to the point that its a complete waste of time to swap them).
they are telling you to recheck your cam gear settings. you might just try oem gears since they seem easier for people to get right the first time. then check ignition timing. they then said there is little difference so spending even more time to go back to b16 sticks is wasting even more time than you did going to gsr sticks
so gsrs in there are pretty much pointless? my cam gear are off then? cuse the car drives/idles fine, just after mid to high range since i swapped the cams.
