Default 1994 Accord F22b (non vtec) wont stay running?

Its a 94 5-speed 2.2 liter, I think F22b. In the mornings it will start and die for awhile before it stays running. I was driving yesterday and it died on me about 4 times and began to have a very slight misfire sound to it. When driving on the highway it seems as if its trying to die at random times as it feels like a slight misfire or loss of power. The issue is on and off and happens a few times during the week. At idle it may seem to have a very very small miss in it randomly. It seems like something is about to give and I wish it would..

-I have changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor in the past 3 months.

-I hear the fuel pump kick on along with the main relay.

-I dont think its an ignition switch although it acts just like it is. I tried starting it and holding the key in the on position and it didnt help.

- I dont know if it would be a coil, distributer, fuel relay, or whatever else? Honestly I am not sure how to check them other than replace them.

There are few different things it could be with quite a few testing procedures and not enough time in a day to cover them here.

Fuel Pressure Regulator can cause this too.

I claim the Main relay as the culprit. Damn Mitsubas **shakes fist in air

doesnt the main relay click off with the engine light when you turn the key in the on position? I thought this was how it is tested...

Your problem is more than likely the ignitor and not the PGM-FI relay.

Yes it does a self test but it can pass that test and then intermittently fail. When it starts to get hot there are a few suspect solder joints that have been known to crack and separate at times. There is a DIY fix somewhere on H-T or you could just replace it...

Have you done any of the Ignition system test procedures form the Manual I sent you?

Have you tried to retrieve any stored codes from your ECU?
