my car will turn over but not start. well this has happend to me before about a month ago...but i thought it was my battery cable...b/c it started right after i fiddled with them and cleaned them up. but it did it again tonight...and i noticed when i turned the key to ON i did not hear the fuel pump priming...so i got it started and when i got home...i turned it off and then turned it to ON and i heard it prime...and started right up. this would be my fuel pump, correct??

well how about this....the both times it has happend i have gotten it started by a jerk or two. (letting it roll slowly...and mash the brake to a hard stop)

oh...and the two times it has happend...they have been like 3-4 weeks apart...if that helps

i know my fuel pump is bad cause previous owner messed with it.
well b4 it went out when i drove my crx. i gas it and it wouldnt go any faster.
felt like it was hesitating to go.
could be many things but imma get the fuel pump out the way first and see where it leads.

 

how do i check/replace for the main relay?

 

Here is your main relay:

If you follow the digram you can test your fuel pump if you get 7.8 ounces in 10 second
your pump is still good. Then you probably have a bad main relay.
