hi got a question
my alternator has been testd and it passed to be good
my battery is new

my battery light is still on and goes off at high rpms
i say after 4500rpms

what can it be?

haha^ id say take the battery out and charge it then see if you still have a problem.

 

check your ground wires

 

or the alternator is still bad. my crx did the same thing when i first bought it. i had a ground problem and a bad alternator. but it tested good. the rectifier was shorting out

 

are you running a d series alternator on a swap?I am. it happen to me around 5 grand with my LS swap.my alternator passed a test a kragen but it will still turn on,so i bought a new one and not a problem.hope it was any help

 

Those "alternator tests" are utter crap. My guess is it's the alternator not charging enough.

 

It means your alternator is going out. Better replace it before it leaves you stranded like mine did. And yes, my alternator passed the POS Autozone test at 2 different locations. The last time I just said give me a new alternator and the light has never come back on.
