Icon2 Clifford Alarm and Setup Questions

To give you the short story, I moved to an apartment in a new county, after three days of living here my car was broken into and they stole my entire stereo system. They yanked the engine bay cable from under the driver's side quarter panel and disconnected the battery. They then got into the car some how (Is my Honda easily slim jimable?) and stole the entire center console including AC controls, deck, my amplifier, subs and capacitor.

Luckily, my insurance is covering everything including the radio equipment and I will be getting all new equipment but, I want this to not happen again so I'm in the market for a very good alarm with a bunch of extras.

So my projected alarm system is as follows:

CLIFFORD Matrix RSX 50.5x OR CLIFFORD MATRIX 12.5X
Digital Tilt Sensor (1)
Proximity Sensor (Maybe)
Battery Backup System
Hood Pin, Trunk Pin

My questions are:

1. Is the difference between the 50.5x and 12.5x just the remote start? Or are their other discernible features that clifford.com and other websites do not show?
2. How many sensors should I have in the car? (Proximity or Digital)
3. Should I invest in a mini horn for the inside of the vehicle?

Any other advice would be great. I appreciate the help guys.

Default Re: Clifford Alarm and Setup Questions

The diffrence is that the 50.5x is a sst model with 1 mile range. The 12.5x is not. I would go with the 50.5x, dei 520 t back up battery a dei 513t mini siren in the car. Install is the key.
