B16-CRX update ( '09 Si Seats, Solarwing, Sprint Springs...)
Update 5/17/10
I will be selling these seats soon. I have another set on the way. Still no rips and in great condition. PM me if you are interested and LOCAL: (PA,NJ) cause they will cost a fortune to ship lol.
I will have pics of the new seats during installation as wel
** UPDATE 7/9/09 **
Ok, so I got the passenger seat in and took almost 7 hours!! I would do a complete writeup but there was just too much to document. I took about 20 pounds of extra brackets and other junk just to get the seat to the bare rails. I also had to cut off the lever in the back which makes the seal flip forward for rear passengers ( It wouldn't slide back far enough)
Overall it went in ok once I made the brackets and maybe someone else on the forum will have the money and time to try the seat swap as well. Check it out and let me know what you think.
Hey guys whats up. Over the last couple weeks I got a few things accomplished with my car and wanted to show it off. One of the things I got done was installing my 09 Civic Si seat. It took me about 5 hours to get the drivers seat in and was well worth it. I was looking at the recent threads about installing these seats in the EF's and was kinda worried about getting them in and having fitment issues but it was not that bad. The seats are about 3 inches wider than stock si seats and sit about an inch higher with how I mounted them. They feel great and my head doesn't hit the ceiling! I will make a writeup for the passenger seat ( forgot my camera when installing). Basically all i did was drill out the rivets holding the seat brackets and made my own out of some metal from Home Depot.
I also recently installed
- Sprint Extreme Springs (3.25 drop)
-Antenna delete cover
-GTS solarwing
-Stock si exhaust painted black
on with the pics... let me know what you think

i would love to get those seats, but currently my helmet is right at my sunroof, so have the the seat any higher would be bad...but looks good though
Looks really clean man. I've been thinking about putting those seats on in hatchback but i didn't think it would fit since those seats sit kinda high in the newer civics...
Yea I welded them myself with a crappy mig welder. Its good practice I guess and the welds didn't break so thats good enough for me. I wouldn't recommend this seat swap to anyone without a crap load of patience lol.
hey dude,
what are the Sprint springs like? im tempted to get some shipped to the UK
ive heard they can be quite hard?

Look good man, I work at a wrecker and was inspecting these seats as well as EP3 seats. The EP3 seats sat waaay to high in my EF so I sold them.
CRX looks nice though, nice rims. Not a fan of the head lights though
