Daily driver build
Picked up this 91' hatch the other day. Motor is from a friends crx. ZC with si trans. Car won't run, the previous 4 owners couldn't get it to run. I'm sure its because the engine harness doesn't match the chassis or something, whatever.
This car is just a daily but since I build those cool cars that go sideways with lots of bling and **** for a living I need something to show off what I can do. Plus it makes the car a lot more fun than rockin it stock.
Immediate plans are:
Sportmax 501 wheels (have in a box)
Nexen 195/45-15's (only brand I could find in that size quickly, currently being shipped)
Re-wire entire shell (have mil-spec connectors, buttons, switches, relays all that stuff on order)
Re-wire ecu harness (there's 8 butt connectors in the injector harness
)
Skunk 2 shocks and all-star sleeves with eibach springs
VX? or something EG brakes up front
Custom stainless 2.25" ovalized tubing exhaust (need more clearance)
Get CRX bumper to match with hatch fenders (like hatch fenders more)
Paint it some dark green
Short term plans (few weeks from now)
Key!s racing steering wheel
Put a/c back in
Black suede everything inside
new carpet
Panda Garage seats
JDMShit lip
Long term plans
Skunk2 Pro-C's (hopefully in a month)
Baller wheels
Maybe a B series.... or a J series.....
and on with the pics of how it sits as of now, I'll post updates as parts come in and I get a chance to work on it.

Interior is TRASH. At least the dash is crack free.

Sportmaxes

Will post pics in a few days with updates as more parts come in. I really just started this thread because I'm wicked bored.

Update!
Parts are rolling in, now I just need to finish a couple other cars so I can start on this.
In case anyone is wonder I'm a Millwright. I specialize in industrial controls wiring and general fabrication and stuff.
Some of the wire I have, stuff on left is Mil-spec Tefzel, I'll use it for the engine harness, the stuff on the right is THHN oil/gas resistant, used for the chassis harness.

Pile of parts for the wiring

A couple of the switches and buttons I got. Everything other than main power is going to be push button. These are Telemecanique, pretty nice industrial ****. I like them because they're small, the contacts are replaceable (not that it ever will need it) and fairly affordable.

Relays are Dayton pieces, single pole double through. I got them because I like the fact that it has a test button and an LED that indicates if current is flowing through it or not.

Relay blocks for those relays. DIN rail mounted. Have DIN rail that'll be part of my fuse/relay array.

LED indicators for the switch panel. Super ****ing tiny.

Fuse block. Figured I try it since I like the fact that the spade terminals are external for easy access.

Mil Spec ITT Cannon connector. Gold plated contacts, quarter turn. Water/Oil/Coolant proof. This is just so when the car is parked I can take my switch panel with me leaving a bunch of unmarked all black wires. Good luck thieves!

Battery disconnect I may or may not use, still undecided.

Rather than hide my awesome wiring behind a bunch of ugly, oversized wire loom I'm going to lace the harness. I've done a couple like this in the past. Its a major pain in the *** but its smaller, lighter and cleaner than any other option. Here's an example of an SC400 engine harness I did a while back that I laced.

Got tires for the car and mounted them on the sportmaxes. 195/45-15 Nexen's. Not my first choice but there's only a hand full of companies that make this size. I think next time I'm going to get some 165/50-15 federals.

And finally my window vents (since no one has seen these before.......)

More to come in the next few days when I build the switch panel and the relay center.

There's a couple things I don't really like on it. Like my relay blocks have screw terminals on them. So probably once or twice a year I'll have to pull the dash and put a screwdriver on every contact to make sure nothing got loose.
Wish loctite would fix the problem. But the issue is the copper in the wire itself getting pinched when under pressure and vibrating.
