yes im just looking for some advice on this machine as well, i may be asking a little much for pictures, but feedback on the machine will do.
i just the other day got to play around with one, its the newest one i believe and its a great machine! i have a miller diversion 165 that you cant adjust **** on and its very annoying. then i tried pulse and other options and its awesome. i cant wait to start using it. but i wont lie i am going to be buying a miller dynasty 200dx when i get the cash and sell the diversion. hope this helps
thanks, ya right now im going to go with the syn 200 because it will give some room to grow as i get better, i might even convert it to a water cooled torch if i can find a diy way to and then just keep it since i wont being doing projects everyday just a couple times a week, so it should be enough then.
Welded with the syn 200 for a while before I had to upgrade for the aluminum stuff.(1/2" and thicker). Great machine. Put 70 hours of welding on it before I sold it for $100 less than I paid. Never looked back.

It's a pretty sweet rig. We have like 9 of them spread throughout our three shops. The weld quality won't have anything to do with the machine unless we are talking welding tinfoil or AL over 1/4. Pictures won't tell you that much to be honest. 99.99% of **** welds are caused by operator error.
it is easy if you just call up miller and order the parts. hell there even tell you all the part numbers so you can build your own.
there is a thread about diy water coolers already.

My buddy bought a larger synchrowave (250?) with A/C frequency adjustment for his aluminum work, just used it last week and it was super nice. Playing with the adjustment really allows you to dial in the machine for a perfect aluminum bead. if there is such a thing lol.

I have an old 60's Miller 430A Tig machine(aka the fridge-500amp max output), that has a homemade coolant system on it. It's very doable, a pump, tank, and some fittings is all you need. If you do enough continuous welding that you boil the fluid(very hard to do) then you may want to add a radiator and electric fan(you can use a honda heater core).

Its Nick.. I put a deposit on the Type R motor and took forever to pay you the balance so you ended up selling it. Then you took forever to pay me my money back making excuse after excuse ********. lol.... I did get my money so I guess that's all that matters.
I could have sold that engine like 10 times after you had put the deposit down during the summer, then you needed your deposit back after months of waiting for the balance..lost job or something? Took me forever to resell was the only reason, winter time sucks nothing moves. Missed out on a nice engine btw.. I ended up installing it into some contractors spoiled HS kids car and it hauled ***.
We're kinda thread jacking here, but hows things going?
My years of machine work, motorcycle's, wrestling engines and parts, and fab work finally caught up with me, my lower back is garbage
I sold my import place and now work in const. management. I miss it but I'm still in the scene though. Seems like more often than not my payments collecting go back to the guy who bought the place to get parts lol..
Take it your welding and fabricating if your cruising these?
