That is some good looking production work.
Side question are you using sanitary ferruls? I work for a big named soft drink manufacturer and we do all of our food grade sanitary lines in 316 and those look like the same ferruls. IF so what are you using for gaskets?Or are they the male-female kind and I am totally blind.

Those do look like Tri-clamp/Sanitary Fittings. I used those on my exhaust aswell, and I rolled a Ø 3/32 wire @ the same diameter of the groove. Works really well. The first time I tried it, I used a coat hanger and that worked well too.
To the OP, are you using oval tubing for the primaries aswell? If so, I would think it will hinder flow charateristics thus reducing performance. Either way, good quality welds and solid fab work there!

what year is your truck, if its a late 04' or up i say get rid of it those are the biggest piles of ****. those delete kits do a pretty good job though, we have been in the process of making a remote oil cooler instead of the junk one on top of the engine.
Yes they are sanitary fittings, no they are not male/female connections, we machine aluminum sealing rings that have a feature on both sides to locate and center the ferrules. If you look at the pics of the vw downpipes, you will see the rings.
Here are pics of the flanges, and all the fittings we made prior to starting the headers:

Here are the header pics, mostly done, can't wait to have them cleaned up and out of the car with the x pipe attached, will look very cool.

Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated. Here are a few pics I took after I pulled the headers out to do the last few welds, I set them up with the xpipe in position as they are installed in the chassis. This week I want to be nearly done the exhaust so hopefully more progress pics this week.
