dream B18C1?
Hey, I'm looking for someone's knowledge on over sized pistons. I have a B18C1 that I am bringing to the machine shop to have bored out. So if you were to pick out a set of pistons what bore size would you choose and what brand would you look at? Also what rods would you pick to go along with it?
I appreciate the advice.

I don't really know. I just want to get it back together. I had two bend rods and the cylinder walls need to be cleaned up so I wanted to get some bigger pistons. When you ask 'goals?' is that a power based question, cause I could care less if it's only good for 200 hp at the end. I would like to get as much as I could but I don't know how so if you could point me in any direction I'd be very appreciate. At this point, anything is better than the stock D15B7 that's burning 2 quarts of oil every time i fill up.
Been here since 2005 and have not learned much, do not listen to this illiterate Honda/Acura pistons are not manufactured at 0.20 over.
The proper first over size bore is 0.25 over.

If I were you personally I'd just build it while your at it, go 82.0mm with like a 11.5:1 piston. Get some good rods and you wont have to worry about anything happening to it. You can spay all day or boost if you wanted too. Just my .02
Alright, I've picked out some Wiseco pistons that are 82mm and have a compression ratio of 11.8:1, a new set of H-beam rods. And now I'm searching for a set of camshafts. I'm thinking about getting a set of comp cams, link provided. http://www.compcams.com/Cam_Specs/Ca...csid=1130&sb=1 I know that I need to get new valve springs to match these high lift cams and should get new, preferably titanium, retainers. Is there anything else that I'll need to invest in?
