What are the best cams for an F22B2? i was think bisimoto but wasnt sure if thats the best choice. what do you guys think? ive got I/H/E those are my only supporting mods so far.

btw I searched and dint find anything.

 

So far yes. Bisimoto's cam are incredible. I had one in my F22B1 and its alot faster than it was before. Delta Cam Regrind does F22Bx cams too but I don't know if their quality are as good as Bisi.

 

before ordering a cam make sure you know what your future goal is? turbo, nitrous, or just all motor? You will have to regrind it again or get another one if you plan on upgrading to turbo etc.

 

ive been thinking about turbo for awhile. but it wont happen for awhile as i just replaced my cv drive shaft, tie rod ends, and new wheel studs. and my sister rear ended me while pooring oil in. so theres damage that needs to be repaired first. anyone selling there turbo kit? or just a turbo?

 

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Bisimoto themselves do not make the regrinds, they are made by Delta, and once is sent back to bisimoto, they check it for precision and ship them out.
And i've heard of few guys out there who had the Delta 272 cam on their f22's and liked it.

 

Bisi designs & specs the cams then Web grinds them for him.

There are quite a few guys running Delta 272's. They have been run successfully for more than a few years now.

The best cam for your F22B2 is the one that suits what you are going to be using the car for. If your thinking turbo don't bother buying a N/A cam now. That would be a waste of time and $$$. Buy your turbo cam and wait until you get your turbo kit complete and have all of the parts for your build. That way your ready to tune everything all at once.

 

thanks ghost, i knew that bisi didn't do the grind themselves, but the name "delta" came into mind right away, so i thought that's what it was..haha

 

what kind of power increase can these upgraded cams offer and what price we talking here?

Yeah, I knew he wasn't the one who does the re-grind. I know that someone else does it for him but just didn't know who exactly.

 

You have nothing to compare it against, so that's a biased opinion. Slap on a 272 and see how it compares.
