i not sure what to do for an fuel pressure regulator and which way would be the most cost effective way of doing it

 

I've never done anything with a k-series, but I don't see why you couldn't just do steel braided lines and a remotely mounted aeromotive. As far as the most cost effective way to do it, I'm definitely not the one to ask.
