Are your window frame welds broken???
Wondering if this is just my car, or if this is a reall problem in the design of our doors. I noticed these cracks in the back of the door where the window frame joins to the rest of the door. Upon closer inspection I found the problem on both sides.
If you have the problem too, please post pictures.

saw this thread and went right out to the parking lot and looked at mine. They seem fine, just the paint is flaking a bit in a couple of places.

This appears to be a more widespread problem than i originally thought. I'm goign to check with my contacts at Honda/Acura and see it there is a TSB for this. Will be visiting Acrua tonight or tomorrow as well.
I had this issue in my driver side door, but had my uncle weld it up for me, I never thought to check the TSB....Please post up your findings OP.
What are you guys doing to your doors to do that?
I've had AAA come out twice now and use an air bladder and plastic wedges to bend the door panel enough to reach in and pop the lock with a coat hanger (yeah, I've locked my keys in it twice now), and even after bending the window portion back straight mine hasn't cracked like that.

There are no TSBs. I talked to a friend on the tech line and he had heard of no issues like this before. It also appears that the passenger side front weld is also cracked on my car.
I do not abuse my windows, but i dor roll the window up and down a lot and i know that that dies flex the doors as I can feel the hand cup thing move when it reaches the top of the frame. I felt the sme thing on my other 98 ITR as well.
