Default battery-starter/fuse wire guage question

k so im relocating my battery and was just curious as to what guage wire would be ideal to use? ive searched a bit and i came up with 4 or 6 jsut wnated to get some opinions and double check my research to make sure i dont make a mistake

I wouldn't use anything less than 4 gauge.. I would suggest either 2 or 1/0. I used 1/0 that I got from a welding supply shop. It's probably overkill for a Honda but I would rather go too big and suffer the weight penalty than go too small and have problems like fire and such. The cable is high quality double jacketed and made in USA, and was less than the stuff from the audio companys. A good compromise would probably be 2 gauge, it would be lighter and cheaper but should still be plenty for the current the starter draws.

As for fuse I'm using a 150 amp circuit breaker from Stinger. I've seen online that most people don't like the breakers for their cars so you might be better off with a high quality fuse. You will want to put it as close to the battery as you can in case of a short unless you don't like your car.
