yeah i was thinking of paying my water jet cutting guy to cut me some sheets of 18gu stainless steel with bunch of 1/4' holes in it depending on price and then id roll it and weld it up.
Im trying to make a 3 pass muffler like the dynomax super turbo but the ends will be pie cut ends.
Hard to explain but i can draw it up if people are wondering what i mean.

I wanted to go with a dynomax super turbo muffler but with the weather we have here it would probly last 2-3 years at max. Im gonna go talk to my water jet guy and see how much they would charge me to make a 12' x xx sheet of holes cut.

Hey JDMCRX
I plan on doing the same thing for my own car pretty soon. Have you decided what to use for packing? Stainless steel wool, fiberglass, ceramic? I have been researching packing for a little bit and there seems to many options.
Anyone have experience with muffler packing?

I thought about that but most bike mufflers can be pulled apart and repacked. Is there a special combo of materials that can be used to last a long time?
In my case I am doing everything out of aluminum and its not something I want to saw apart and repack every once in awhile.
Anyway, post pics when your done man
