Clutch Differences between RSX and RSX Type S
flywheel is diff. so is the clutch but if doing a clutch job most after market clutch want u to install a type s flywheel because of the friction plate and pressure plate being slightly larger
I'm new so I can't post my own thread, this is the closest topic with the most recent posts that I can find so I'm hoping someone will reply.. I have an '06 RSX type S and I have to replace the clutch and flywheel. I want to do aftermarket but I need suggestions. I don't want a heavy racing clutch or whatever they're referred to as, I'm 110lbs and don't wanna exert too much energy just to shift, lol. Any suggestions are appreciated. thanks.
Just because you are new doesn't mean you can't search.
Competition, Spec, Exedy, ACT, etc... all good brands. Just get a stage 1 or a street type disc and pressure plate and you should be fine.

Even if he has a bone stock engine maybe he should get a stage 1 for the fact that maybe he will or is going to get mods...then he might have to change the clutch again to go with the power
