Only thing neater would be if he owned a 1986 GLH"S"!!!!!! THOSE are my favourite! I've always had a soft spot for 2.2 Turbo II stuff, especially the Dodge turbo stuff with Carol's direct connection/mopar/Shelby touch!!!! I also REALLY like the final year 1989 Shadow Shelby CSX's red with the gold five spoke fiber rides.....I'd pay BIG bucks for a reasonably clean one of those!!!!!!

I like all sorts of different things but the 80s domestic turbo stuff appeals to me heavily obviously.

 

COSIGN Man....I agree. FUN stuff for sure....Best friend of mine growing up had a Daytona Shelby Z...and other friends also had GLH-T's....they had a REAL distinctive sound....and the spool up..albeit slow....was FUN! I think, IMHO, that these car's really HAD potential back in their day.....I STILL love'em now..but I gotta say I REALLY enjoy Vtec these days....

 

Yea those Turbo Shelbys do it for me to. There's a guy locally with a clue/white CSX that goes to the local cruise spot.

Man, sweet stuff right there. Fun stuff when chrysler was throwing turbo-4's in EVERYTHING. New Yorkers, Minivans, Spirits, Shadows, LeBarons, etc. etc. etc.

Wouldn't mind an Omni myself, can't seem to ever find any on craigslist.

I bet finding parts for those cars is not fun. Its cool to see that low production cars like the onmi and shelby daytona are still out there. I wouldn't want one, but I do think they're cool cars.
