My new honda civic EF
Hey guys, i just bought a 1990 honda civic and it woun't pass emssions i don't know what the problem is but the Co% is at 4.0 and its supposed to be at 0.73 and it failed the other thing was i forget i'll post the reading on paper if anyone could help me it would be great.
you need to get a new catalitic converter. or get a tank full of 85 octane the problem is you arent burning all of your gas and the lower the octane the easier it is to combust the fuel.

Using high octane to pass the test is a huge myth. I tried it and didn't work.
If your levels are that high you need to get a new catalytic converter. Period.
Just do it and you'll pass. Also make sure not using any ebay cold air intake or something of that sort.
