do i need an fpr....i'm confused
i already got a vortech rising rate fmu and a 255lph in-tank fuel pump to take care of fuel needs. do i still need to have a fuel pressure regulator or the stock fpr will do? if yes, why do i need one?
I believe that most people who have the upgraded fuel pump, rising rate fmu and a aftermarket fpr...run that combo with larger injectors. I believe the point of the fpr is to lower the fuel pressures lower than stock levels to help the bigger injectors idle better. I don't have any specifics on your set-up but if your running stock injectors you should'nt need an aftermarket fpr unless your trying to do some engine dress up stuff.

The stock fpr is ok, if it can bypass enough fuel for the 255. Some setups cannot bypass enough and require the B&M command flo.
What is your idle fuel pressure with and without vacuum?
