Question about DAs
I heard somewhere that when you lower a DA too much the upper control arm i think it was hits something? Can someone with a lowered DA tell me if they had to do anything to go low. Low enough to tuck some tire. Thanks in advance
Shock tower contact occurs when a sliding or offset balljoint camber kit is installed. They're all taller than stock, reducing the available travel. Leave the stock UCA in place, and you can slam the car (with stiff enough spring rates) and not really worry about UCA to shock tower contact.
i have the camber kit you mentioned and i can still go really low .. i dont think the op has anything to worry about. regardless of whether or not he is using a camber kit.
i'm not using coil overs or a camber kit. stock everything except for eibach sport line springs, and it sits pretty low and doesn't rub, or hit anything. not tucked, but, ehh, you get the idea.
alright thanks for the help i was just going to throw some omni coilovers on there
