Clutch not disengaging all the way
Sup guys? Well I did the auto-manual swap on my 94 EX using parts from a 95 DX. The clutch doesn't seem to be disengaging all the way with the pedal down. at first it wouldn't disengage at all, but then I saw that it was because the whole clutch pedal bracket assembly was just bending, So I re installed it and it was good. But when I put it in gear with the pedal pressed, and Rev the motor high, it will jerk forward. And also it's very hard to shift from gear to gear and I'm getting a lot of grinding. I don't think its the Master, slave, or hose lines because they worked perfectly fine when It was on the other car, and none of them are leaking. I did bleed the lines. Somebody told me that the clutch disc or pressure plate could be installed backwards. Any suggestions before I rip the tranny out???
the pressure plate can't be installed backwards. the clutch disc could be, but first be sure the line is, in fact, bled properly. the clutch pedal assembly also has an adjustment screw/nut that allows you to adjust the pedal height. maybe your pedal is sitting too low to the floor and doesn't have enough travel?
I've adjusted the pedal to the highest setting and it still didn't help. The line for sure is fine, but could a sharp bend in the line cause it? The pedal also feels soft. I did bleed it properly ( I think)
I had a problem before where the firewall was flexing and the pedal was not properly actuating the clutch master cyl. I also had my pedal adjusted as high as possible. Had to put in a make-shift support bracket between the firewall and clutch pedal bracket to keep it from flexing and that resolved my issue. Can you push the pedal in with your hand and make sure the pedal is moving as it should and the firewall or bracket isn't flexing?
Also, you think it's bled properly? If the pedal is soft and the bracket isn't flexing, bleed it again. While it should technically gravity bleed since the reservoir is higher than the clutch slave, try a pump that sucks fluid down through the slave, making sure the fluid reservoir is always full. This is easier with 2 people.

Well It might need to re bleed it because I bleed it fully, then found out the firewall was bending, so when I fixed it, I didn't think I needed to bleed it again.
Thanks a lot guys
