Oil Pan Drain Plug Stripped!!!
Ok.
My oil pan plug is stripped and I am looking for an oversized plug.
Let me ask you guys, if the plug is 14mm with a 1.5 pitch should I look for a 16mm with a 1.5 pitch or 14mm with a 1.75 pitch?
Thanks!

Just retap the hole with whatever thread, but find a bolt that matches the thread pitch and can fit inside the newly tapped hole. But you want to make sure the bolt is the same length as the original.
Or retap to the next size up and install one of these: http://www.quickoildrainvalve.com/
there is actually an oversized plug and tap made for this type of repair. i think it's a 14.5mm... if you've got a good local parts store, they should be able to direct you to it.
run the tap through the hole, clear out any shavings with a magnet, install new oversize plug.
EDIT...after a brief search, all i can find are the self tapping type. they list as being oversize "M14" so that's what to look for.
