Help! dizzy shaft not lining up with housing
So I've got an odd problem. I've got a 95 Ex with the v6, and the ignitor started to go out on me when the car would warm up. So I just replaced it, but now I've got a strange problem. The car misfires horribly, and I've tracked it down to the distributor shaft timing mark, is about 30 degrees off from the timing mark on the distributor housing. Now I'm really confused as to how that happened, but I was wondering how to move it back so that it matches up again. I can line them both up, but it won't fit into the camshaft without offsetting the shaft 30 degrees off from the dizzy timing mark. Anyone know how the heck this happened and how to fix it? Thanks.

I don't see how it could have skipped a tooth. I never touched the timing components or the camshaft. Just took the dizzy out to replace the ignitor and put it back in. I don't think I can time it because the dizzy doesn't slide back and forth. Any other ideas?
