Whats up guys, long time lurker but never really post on here..im usually on crx community..but i figured id post here also to see if i could get a quicker response.

So during my MPFI Swap i acquired a skunk2 intake manifold.
Now i have read multiple threads saying i can just yank mr charcoal canister out and get rid of it. I may just do that because i want to put my overflow there or hang a picture of myself...not sure.

If anyone can tell me what letter goes to what number, like Ato 5, B to 2 etc etc...I'm a little confused and have been looking at it for 4 or 5 days now.

eventually this could be a how to.

This is obviously on a D Series Engine.





These are my guesses so far
A - 1 (from charcoal canister..if removed what should i do with this hole? on top of the tb?)
B - 3?
C - 6
D - 5
E -
F -
G -
H -
I -
J -
K -7
L -9

 

put the manifold on. most of your lines will line right up.

 

most of the lines are coolant lines/ vacume lines. some are for the fitv valve if your throttle body has one.

E- goes the back side and onto the small nipple
F- Fuel return line (6)
G- goes onto the middle of the water neck nipple
H- goes to the letter (I)
I- goes to (L)
J- holds a vacuum line
K- goes to 7
L- goes to (I)
10- goes to (B)
1- goes to (A)
8- goes to the intake nipple

cant make out the others. hope this helps a bit

Little off topic, how well does that manifold fit? How much clearance between it and the firewall? I thought I remember it being pretty tight on an EG. (Though nothing like trying to put a skunk IM on an H22 EG... uggggg)

 

Bunger, clearence is tight but everything fits fine.

where is the water neck nipple...never heard that

 

theres should be a small pipe from the water neck, its the only one there.

 

negative sir..nothing on that pipe. when i get home ill take another look
