I bought a 99 hatch shell from a KID. Everything was ripped apart and painted when I got it and it used to have a H22 in it. He pretty much grabbed parts out of his garage and threw them in the car when I picked it up. I believe I have so 98 dash harness in it? I have the cable climate control and it needs the Y-connector to hook up and the 99 MT cluster I bought does not plug in to it? So I am wondering if I am right on the harness and if i will need a jumper for the ECU and what one?

 

If im not mistaken you will need the OBDII A harness.
Dont waste your time in a jumper harness just go to the junk yard and pull those hanesses

 

I live in ND man. Your junk is our treasure haha. Even if we do have one I'm def not finding an OBD2A harness. I do believe my Dash harness is OBD2A. I have an OBD1 ECU.
