I took my motor out to install a new clutch and flywheel, and seals/timing belt/waterpump..and I lost somehow a bracket but I got a replacement off ebay for cheap.

Its been a while since I took it off and now I dont know where it goes.

I know it goes in the lower rear motor area, but cant figure where or how exactly?

Those both go from the trans to the underside of the block...one in front of the oil pan and one in back near the linkage. The single holes bolt to the trans, and the 2 smaller ones to the underside of the block right on the surface where the pan sits. Hope that helps

 

Thanks but I went out and it appears it will not work on my Y7 block.

I need my specific one.

 

I am now very skeptical that this bracket for a d16y7 98 civic does even exist?

 

I hit up all the salvage yards and all the ek gens do not have it on.

So Im gonna go ahead and drop my motor back in.

If anyone knows otherwise please let me know.
