I just purchased a COMP.FAB carbon fiber hood from one of the members on here..The only problem that i have is that the Hood latches but dosnt go all the way down like the stcok hood it has still 1-2 inches to go and i cant get it to go..I have searched on here and google and done the little things like take the bumpers out and move the hood latch all the way down..But it still dosnt want to go..Any of you guys have any tricks to make it work..! Please let me know if you do..

is the motor stopping it from goin down? you might need hood spacers if it is

 

spacers, its gotta be hitting somewhere. are there any marks in the inside? most cf hoods have shitty clearance...

 

I dont think its hitting anywhere that was the first thing i though i check my CIA pipeing and it wasnt that but i will check out some spacers..Will it effect the body line of the hood...(lineing up with the fenders) though...?

a little. google propped hood, there will only be a gap on the part closest to the windshield, but there wont be a gap by ur lights.
