Default Oem sway bar Vs. Aftermarket

Is there a difference? What about a 24mm Vs. a 22mm? I am trying to plan out suspension for a project. Thanks.

You need to do QUITE a bit more reading.

I would drive with the stock one for now. If the car does NOT rotate enough for your personal driving style, then look into doing a larger diameter sway bar.

There is no "one size fits all" for this, it really comes down to driving style.

For me, I personally like a really loose car. I run 12/14k PIC coilovers and a 26mm Mugen sway and I still want it looser.

I know of one for sale at the very moment... however the seller wants some rediculous amount of funds for it...

If you don't have one at all, the JDM 23mm one would be suitable and not "over done" IMO.

stock 22.23mm are great improvements over the 13mm some civics and other tegs come with so going from nothing to even a 22m will be great
