I just bought an aftermarket JVT racing header. I still need to take my car in to get the inspection sticker. Can i pass it with an aftermarket header or should i wait after i get the inspection to put it on?

Also do I have to do a SMOG, or emissions test too. I stay in Houston.

I would wait till after inspection. Don't give them a reason to fail you, and waste your time just because of that.

 

Yea that would make more sense.
Will I still be able to pass with an aftermarket exhaust system.
I still have my stock CAT, with a aftermarket resonator & muffler

 

I had a 2 1/2 inch pipe from cat back, and my teg was able to pass smog with a good cat converter. you shouldnt have a problem.

 

News update. Just passed Inspection yesterday. Time to put The header on this weekend!
