DA w/Mishmoto radiator over heating problems. Help...
Recently my old radiator went out on me while the wife was driving it back from work. Prior to the radiator actually going out, the car would start to over heat after a while, if the A/C was on. I picked up a aftermarket radiator made from Mishmoto and installed it using my stock fans.
Prior to the new radiator, the temp gauge would usually sit at 1/4. Yesterday i took it out for a test drive and I found the temp gauge would rise to the half way mark and some times even close to 3/4 before i shut off the a/c and turn the heat on. some times it would site at the half way point and not go up at all. I also notice when i slow down the gauge may also rise. once i turned the heat on and let the temp drop. i can go back to running my a/c and it will site below the make for a little while. i also notice some times it will do the same even without the a/c on.
Have you guys every had this problem? What was the cause and how was it fixed? So far from what im seeing, it seems my fans are to small for the radiator and it is unable to keep my radiator cool enough. Please let me know your thoughts and experiences.. Thanks in advance

i did bleed out my all the air in the coolant lines. I'll have to double check the thermstat though. I know i recently replaced it though.
Funny story, when we went to get the sube tuned, engine got hot and radiator was ice cold. It was the pressure lines reversed. I'd check that too.

Ive been paying attention to the fans. They do turn on and seems to be working extra hard. when i first got the rad. put in i noticed the fans were on for at least 20minutes. after a while the fans would turn off, thats when the needle would start to really climb. I've dobule checked the lines and they seem to be good and coolant is flowing smooth.
any more ideas?

Check the t stat. The stock fans should be able to keep it cool wit that huge radiator. Only time I ever seen a honda overheta was t stat or fans and head gasket
