Default rubbed my dc2 against a white pole

Whats up everybody? I was backing my car into my parking spot last night and I wasn't paying attention and rubbed up against a white pole holding up my car port. I stopped before any real damage was done but now I have a 6in line of white paint from the pole on my rear quarter panel. Whats the best way for me to get the paint off of my car? Any help is appreciated

Have you tried polish or maybe trying to buff it out?

I did the same thiing against a tan wooden pole in my carport. I thought the paint was screwed so I drove arounnd for months before I figured out that all I had to do was use my finger nail to scrape the transferred paint off, lol. Try it. My wound looked pretty bad but 10min after scraping it off it was completely gone.

Post pics of the damage.

Figuring it's only paint transfer, you can use a clay bar and then a polish and it should take it off.

Try to pick up some Autoglym or other safe tar removal, this will remove the white surface paint on your car. If there's still some left, which there most likely will be try using a light compound to buff it with. A polish may not do the trick.
