Default noisietraction bar!!

hey there i have a 89 crx with a etd traction bar,every time i hit the breaks it squeaks.i already tightended the 6 bolts in the front but no luck.

Are you 100,000,000% positive it is the traction bar and NOT the brakes or something else for that matter?

i bet your rod ends are blown out. 2 right hand thread and 2 left hand thread. i got them from my local speed shop. cost me 90 dollars for all 4. all play/ squeaks went away

^^ why are you bumping a tech thread if you are not the OP or contributing to the thread?

OP check the little metal tabs on the brakes also if they don't seem worn out. I have gotten a pair of brake pads that the tabs were to long and rubbing on the dust shield.

update


turns out the right side only has 2 bolts instead of 3 and the weld busted on the nut on the other side.any ideas how to fix?

Cut a hole to access where the welded nut was secured to, then use a nut and bolt.
